By using Darwaza (also known as DoorCalling), you agree to these terms.
1. Service Description
Darwaza is a QR code-based smart doorbell service that allows visitors to notify residents via push notifications. The service includes three modes: Doorbell, Token Queue, and Coworking Space directory.
2. Account
- You must sign in with a Google account to use the app
- You are responsible for all activity under your account
- You must be at least 13 years old to use this service
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the service for harassment, spam, or abuse
- Attempt to bypass security measures (rate limiting, geofencing, token verification)
- Share QR codes for the purpose of enabling unauthorized doorbell ringing
- Use automated tools to ring doorbells or issue queue tokens
- Misrepresent your identity when visiting or ringing
- Upload inappropriate or illegal content as selfie photos
4. Free & Paid Plans
- Pakistan users: Free unlimited access as a community initiative
- Global users: Free trial (50 rings), then paid plans required
- Pricing is displayed in the app and may change with 30 days notice
- No refunds for subscription periods already started
5. Data Ownership
- You own your door configurations, labels, and settings
- Visit history belongs to the door owner
- Visitor-provided data (name, message, photo) is shared with the door owner upon ringing
- Photos are automatically deleted after 30 days
6. Service Availability
- We strive for high uptime but do not guarantee 100% availability
- Push notifications depend on Google Firebase and may experience delays
- The service requires internet connectivity on both visitor and owner devices
7. Limitation of Liability
Darwaza is provided "as is" without warranty. We are not responsible for:
- Missed notifications due to device settings, battery optimization, or network issues
- Actions taken by visitors at your door
- Physical security of your premises
- Data loss beyond our reasonable control
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Canada (Province of Manitoba) for DoorCalling, and the laws of Pakistan for Darwaza.
